NLC Congressional City Conference, March 14-16, 2022

NLC Congressional City Conference is almost here.  There are a number of events specifically for Arizona attendees. 

Monday, March 14

The League of Arizona Cities and Towns will host our annual Arizona Reception during the conference. All Arizona delegates, spouses and guests are invited to attend. The reception will take place:

Tuesday, March 15 – Morning

Due to scheduling requirements of our Senators, we are moving our traditional Hill Day breakfast meeting with U.S. Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly to Tuesday, March 15

That meeting will take place:

11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: Russell Senate Office Building Room 325 (Kennedy Caucus Room)

Note special instructions: Everyone will be allowed to enter through the Russell 1st floor handicap accessible entrance off Constitution and Delaware (see attached map, it is called the “Delaware Door”). 

Senate staff is encouraging everyone to arrive early as staff must escort groups of 9 to the room due to Senate policy. 

Tuesday, March 15 – Evening

The State Society of Arizona is inviting all Arizona NLC attendees to a reception to celebrate Statehood Day on Tuesday, March 15th at Decatur House.

NLC’s Congressional Hill Day Kick-Off Breakfast

This is on the regular NLC agenda but wanted to encourage all AZ NLC delegates to attend as U.S. Representative Greg Stanton will be speaking at this event.
