The 2024 legislative session has begun. The second regular session of Arizona’s 56th Legislature commenced on January 8, 2024. 

Throughout the session, the League offers a full suite of services and publications to help Arizona cities and towns communicate more effectively with their legislative delegation and monitor issues that affect Arizona communities.

Mark your calendars! The 2024 League Conference will be August 27 – 30 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.  Registration and hotel information will go out in May.  If you have an idea or suggestion on a conference topic or speaker, please fill out the form in the link below. We will gather these ideas to plan next year’s event.

Retirement Cliff: A Helpful Solution

The “retirement cliff” refers to the large number of ASRS employees who are approaching retirement age. Arizona’s state, municipal and education employers are at risk of losing a wide range knowledge and skills as their most experienced employees step out of the workforce.

NLC Congressional City Conference
