2022 League Annual Conference

Mark your calendars for the 2022 conference that will be August 30- September 2 at the Renaissance in Glendale.

Municipal Candidate Campaign Finance Training 

The League is offering a campaign finance training for municipal candidates, committee chairman and treasurers. 

2022 League Policy Committees

The first round of the 2022 Policy Committee meetings will be held in early May.  The due date for submitting proposals for the May meetings has passed.  If you wish to submit a policy proposal for the June meetings, please see information below on that process.  

City and Town Throwback

146 years ago! The groundbreaking of the Yuma Territorial Prison occurred on April 28, 1876. The prison continued in operation for 33 years. 

League 2022 Service Awards

In preparation for the 2022 League Service Award Program and the Annual Conference, we are asking cities and towns to complete the 2022 League Service Award form.

Guess This City/Town

This city was named for its founder Winfield Scott, a Civil War veteran and army chaplain who moved to Arizona in 1888. When it incorporated in 1951, the population was around 2,000 residents.

Nominations Open Now: Gabe Zimmerman Awards  

Center for the Future of Arizona’s annual Gabe Zimmerman Public Service Awards honor the memory of the dedicated community outreach director who gave his life while serving the citizens of Arizona.
